1. About Avoraz and these Terms

Avoraz (“Avoraz”, “we”, “us”) is a company based in the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 90912594. These Terms apply to your use of The Salt Mine 2 (“Game”) and the accompanying website, downloads, accounts, subscriptions, and related services.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or have guardian consent where required) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & Pricing

Unless stated otherwise (e.g., alpha periods), access to the Game may require a recurring subscription. Prices include applicable VAT. We may offer promotions or discounts at our discretion.

4. Refunds

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable. Any refunds are at Avoraz’s sole discretion. This does not affect mandatory statutory rights you may have under EU/Netherlands consumer law.

5. Acceptable Use

• No cheating, exploiting, or unauthorized automation.
• No harassment, hate speech, or illegal activity.
• No reverse engineering or unauthorized redistribution of the Game.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Ownership

The Game, its content, and related IP remain the exclusive property of Avoraz and its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, revocable license to use the Game as provided.

7. Downtime & Changes

The Game and services may be unavailable from time to time (maintenance, updates, outages). Features may change or be discontinued. We are not liable for downtime or data loss beyond what is required by applicable law.

7bis. Progress & Data Resets (Alpha)

During alpha and early access periods, game progress, stats, or stored data may be reset. Avoraz may remove or reset progress or data at its discretion (for example, when balancing, addressing exploits, or preparing for launch).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avoraz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, unless prohibited by law.

9. Data & Privacy

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. We minimize personal data and secure it appropriately. Please review our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law, except where mandatory consumer protection rules apply. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory law gives you other rights.
